We are very fortunate to have so many cool bridges here in Portland, never mind the fact that some of them are in need of an upgrade. I know we all piss and moan whenever there are bridge closures due to maintenance, but can you imagine having thousands of cars and trucks weighing who knows how many gazillions of tons driving back and forth over your back all day?

If I was one of those bridges, I think I’d be ready for a spa treatment (whatever those are), or at the very least a nice soak in a warm jacuzzi. 

So in honor of some of our beautiful bridges, here are some shots I took over the last couple of years.
