I put together another video from the footage I shot of Natalia Hougen singing at the Krakow Cafe & Pub.

Here it is.

A while back we posted a very short video of Natalia Hougen playing her guitar and singing Russian folk music (video here) in front of our Yamhill Store while she was waiting for the MAX.

Natalia has since kept me in the loop as to when she will be performing, and a couple of nights ago I had the privilege to see her perform once again. This time I brought along 2 video cameras to catch all the action.

Below is just one of the songs she performed.

Stay tuned for more video performances by Natalia Hougen.

You have to see it to believe it.

Full Story: http://www.davecarrollmusic.com/story… – In the spring of 2008, Sons of Maxwell were traveling to Nebraska for a one-week tour and my Taylor guitar was witnessed being thrown by United Airlines baggage handlers in Chicago. I discovered later that the $3500 guitar was severely damaged. They didnt deny the experience occurred but for nine months the various people I communicated with put the responsibility for dealing with the damage on everyone other than themselves and finally said they would do nothing to compensate me for my loss. So I promised the last person to finally say no to compensation (Ms. Irlweg) that I would write and produce three songs about my experience with United Airlines and make videos for each to be viewed online by anyone in the world. United: Song 1 is the first of those songs. United: Song 2 has been written and video production is underway. United: Song 3 is coming. I promise.

Apropos on Black FridayCharles, Prince of Wales addresses the Foreign Press Association with a comprehensive lecture on the dangers of unchecked consumerism and the need for an increasingly holistic worldview in light of the global social, economic and environmental challenges. The credit crisis is a side effect of a throwaway society and consumerism is no cure for depression, he says, and we need to question the concepts of “Modernity” and “Economic Growth” we take for granted.

Wait, what!?

This calls for some Hank Williams.

Also, some folks started a petition to have Hank Williams reinstated to the Grand Ole Opry, which you can check out by clicking HERE.
